Guitar and Bass tuning machines are sold by the side of the headstock they are mounted when viewing from the front. Left or Right side is not the same as left or right handed. Please remember this when placing your order.

The SG510 MG-T is GOTOH's flagship super tuning machine with its 1:21 gear, precision fitted gears and high-quality finish. The MG-T uses an intuitive rear mounted thumbwheel locking mechanism for fast string changes.
We are selling the SGV510Z-A01-MGT in 2 pre-configured sets for your convenience. The 3Lx3R and 4Lx2R include all long(20mm) string posts.
Also sold individually to make your own custom set configurations.
Locking tuning machines will use a shorter post than non-locking tuning machines. The string posts are on average about 1/16" (2-3mm) shorter so you will have the proper downward pressure at the nut and increased tuning stability.

Time to switch!
After decades of Schallers, I have been won over by 1:21 ratio of the GOTOH tuners and decided to try these on my new guitar. I was able to keep the large sized knobs I am used to (A01) and am trying out the thumbscrew-based locking (MGT), all in black chrome on a sunburst dread. Only time will tell if the lubrication scheme competes favorable with my elderly German tuners, but it is worth finding out. And Philadelphia Luthier was prompt, professional, and maintains a smart web site. Pre-configured set of exactly what I wanted. Thanks!
