Perfect for electro etching
Nickel plated brass is the perfect material for etching. I used a vinyl cutting machine to create a mask for the custom artwork, then etched the design using saltwater and a dc power supply. The nickel plating is thick enough to just etch the surface for a subtle effect, and with a bit more etching the brass is revealed for maximum visual impact. I'm very happy with the result and might order a few more to experiment with other ideas.
