Worth it!
I have the 16” and 24” steel leveling beams from another company that I use often for fret leveling. I wanted to purchase the 8”, but did not want to spend $50 so I chose Philadelphia’s 8” beam and I’m quite pleased. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it doesn’t have the weight the 8” steel beam from another supplier has. It’s not polished as smoothy and you can see/feel a big weld seam on the face opposite of the logo. Putting those small gripes aside, this unit is affordable! It’s level on the two ends that take the adhesive sandpaper and reaches smaller areas of just fine. I certainly recommend this beam to anyone who needs a good leveler on a budget.
