To make sure you are ordering the correct knob for your guitar look at the underside of your knob and compare it with the one pictured. The difference would be how far the knob sits above the guitar body when installed. Many vintage Gibson guitars have knobs that sit about 1/8" to 1/4" above the body. Many new models (except Gibson Historics) have knobs that sit flush with the body.

Hard to see the non-embossed knobs, plus they had cracks. The embossed ones fit perfectly on my pots, and are easier to see thanks to that slight shadow by the numbers. Awesome price too.
These worked as a very good replacement for the cracked knobs on my Gibson R9…just need to wrangle the fit a little and am very satisfied.
Very nice knobs. Not quite vintage color but much closer than stock Gibson .Darker, not as bright. To do any better than this you'll need spend a lot more $
Ordered these mid lockdown and USPS Mail is taking for ever.........so it'll be great when these arrive. However, they look good!!
Great Knobs ! Fit great !
I have to amend my previous review... I purchased a set of $35 knobs with "vintage amber" tint from a boutique parts shop, and they were EXACTLY the same as these except for the vintage tint. Same dimensions, same shape, same font, same everything except for the color! So, if you're looking for vintage-style knobs on a budget, these really can't be beat!!
As other reviewers have stated, these aren't quite the right color or shape. In person, they're more of a rose gold, whereas OEM (Gibson) knobs are a much brighter and truer gold. However, modern Gibson knobs are not embossed like vintage ones were, and the embossing on these looks 1,000x better than just the painted-on numbers on modern Gibson knobs. The shape is close enough for me, but if you're looking for vintage-correct knobs for your Historic or actual vintage Gibson, these aren't it. I figured these were worth a try for the price and I really wanted to like them, but I just can't get past the color...
These are nice knobs. They're slightly darker than Gibson's gold knobs, but the embossed numbers look so much better than painted-on numbers. If the color/shade difference doesn't bother you, then they're great value for the money. The ones I got were a bit loose on the pot shaft, but that's easily fixed.
Replaced knobs on Gibson '59 Les Paul Historic bought new in 2000. Stock knobs are amber; these knobs are more authentic looking gold and fit well.
