To make sure you are ordering the correct knob for your guitar look at the underside of your knob and compare it with the one pictured. The difference would be how far the knob sits above the guitar body when installed. Many vintage Gibson guitars have knobs that sit about 1/8" to 1/4" above the body. Many new models (except Gibson Historics) have knobs that sit flush with the body.

Vintage Bell hat knobs
The quality and fit of these knobs is every bit as good as the more expensive Gibson branded ones. My only issue is they are more of a dark amber than i really wanted. They look right in the pic but when i got them they were a slightly darker amber. This was a lighting issue and i do not blame Philadelphia Luthier for it. There are still great vintage style knobs for the money. recommended.

I love these knobs
I love putting these vintage-style knobs on my Les Pauls, I think they look great. I was curious, so I bought both these and the "regular" (painted-on numbers, not embossed), and as far as I can tell they're the exact same color.

vintage look
Speed knobs may be better in function, but I wanted the look of a 58 to 60 LP burst, with all the vintage style mods I did to my new 2016 traditional, I have the guitar I was after without spending a silly amount of cash. FYI the tips trick for removing the speed knobs works like a charm.
