The GB350 is part of GOTOH's Res-o-lite series of super lightweight bass tuning machines heads. GOTOH was able to achieve excellent weight savings by using a special alloy call "duralumin". These lightweight tuning machines are able to help the tendency for bass guitars to "neck dive" and also make long playing sessions more comfortable.
Guitar and Bass tuning machines are described by the side the headstock the machine mounts to when the headstock is viewed from the front. "L" is left side and "R" is right side. Please remember this when placing your order.

Great for Mini P Bass
Left set is a perfect fit drop-in replacement for a Squier Mini P Bass. Just be sure to screw the hex cap on most of the way before tightening the screw on the back. No woodwork required, & the screw sits in the same place. Much easier to fine tune than the stock tuning machines, look snazzier & the weight at the headstock feels about the same. Be sure to hold the string steady when restringing as there's no guiding contour for the winding. Highly recommend as an upgrade for the Mini P & have had no issue ordering from Philly Luthier Tools.
