PICKUP FOAM HEIGHT SPRINGS - JAZZ BASS - 2 3/4" X 5/8" X 11/16"
These are the best foam springs for a Jazz bass because they are a good 1/8" taller than the others I've used. It's annoying when a pickup needs to go higher, but the foam isn't high enough to push it up. I'll only buy the Philadelphia Luthier ones from now on. All that said, double taping some painter's tape to a shortened popsicle stick or a small stirring stick (mine look like tongue depressors) to the pickup cavity gives a bit more height and makes changing the foam (years later) much easier.

Good option for non EMG bass pickups
This is the standard for J bass pickups, however it doesn't work well with EMG's due to the mounting lugs on the pickup needed space to prevent them from bending too much.
