- Hosco TL-FC190 Fret Cutter
- Special high carbon steel cutters for long edge life**
- Flush cutting so these will cut close to the edge of the fretboard for less sanding
- Total length (closed) - 7 3/8" (190mm)
- Jaw width - 1 3/16" (30mm)
**DO NOT use the outer edges of the cutters when cutting hard fretwire or fret tangs. The out edges are the weakest section of any flush cutting fret nippers and you will damage the cutter. To insure the long life and perfect cutting edge, stay within the middle 90%.

Awesome
I bought a fret cutter from another big name guitar tool and supply dealer. It was destroyed after cutting half the frets. So I ordered a Hosco cutter from PLT&S. It woked great. I've now purchased three Hosco tools and all were excellent quality. I plan to buy more Hosco tools in the future.

Best fret cutter
Works much better than the cheaply made Chinese cutters. Not that it matters from a performance standpoint but the fit & finish of the product is also a big setup, you can tell that Hosco that's pride in their products. The cutting process feels easier & smoother, and there are zero signs of any wear afterwards. I am of the opinion that this is the best fret cutter on the market and for less than $40, it's a total bargain for anyone who'll be using it on a regular or semi-regular basis.

Does the job!
I have used this tool on two different polymer projects and the Hosco fret cutter flush cutting end nips has performed flawlessly. I simply score the polymer tabs with the Hosco tool a couple times and then make final cut with this tool. So far so good!
