These are typically used to help keep fret slots clean while fixing chipped fret slots. The perfect thickness to fit standard size fret slots clear and glue free during repairs. Commonly called "fret dam" by other sellers.
Can be easily cut with scissors and are reusable.
The non-stick surface of PFTE is also great for mixing epoxies and superglue for finish repairs.

I purchased this to create a fret-dam as I repaired a chipped ebony fingerboard. The thickness was perfect and fit snugly in the fret slot. I used some accelerator to speed up things. The glue did not stick to this at all. I used one small piece for the entire neck. It is still usable for the next fret slot repair. This should last for many years. Plus the price is hard to beat.
