The center section of these knobs are recessed when compared to the outer skirt(see 3rd picture). These will sit close to the guitar body.

Black Speed Knobs for Gibson
Really well made and look great. Pretty tight fit on Gibson pots but reasonable. Suuuuuper tight fit on PRS pots. You can get it on but is easy to crack trying to remove.

Black Speed Knobs US fine splines for Gibson
I replaced the witch hat knobs on my LP Traditional Pro II with speed knobs. Due to the push push switches, the knobs sat a bit high off the body of the guitar. I found these knobs which have a recessed center that allows them to sit lower to the guitar body and it really improved the look of the guitar. I'm glad I found these at Philadelphia Luthier Tools.
