To make sure you are ordering the correct knob for your guitar. Look at the underside of your knob and compare it with the one pictured. The difference would be how far the knob sits above the guitar body when its installed. Many vintage Gibson® guitars have knobs that sit about 1/8" to 1/4" above the body. Many new models (except Gibson® Historics) have knobs that sit flush with the body.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCT
They are too tight and require huge force to get them on, to the point that i am risking breaking the guitar. I am putting these on a hollow-body Jazz archtop - an expensive instrument - and I see the top bending from the force required. But that's just the beginning, because now I can't get them off no matter how hard I try. I checked for the correct number of flutes and there are 18 of them, so they are the right knobs. It's not the potentiometers either, because prior to putting these knobs on there were some Ibanez knobs on the potentiometers and they went on and off easily needing only a mild force. I don't know if this problem is with just the ones I received or the entire line, but there is another review for these knobs and the buyer also complained about them being too tight.

Great Fit
These knobs fit my new Epiphone Slash Les Paul Goldtop perfectly, and they look great. Don't bother with the cheap no-name Amazon parts. These arrived quickly and look MUCH better than the Chinese junk they offer.

Close enough to vintage spec
Been looking for a vintage looking gold reflector with silver insert and this is definitely it. Small text, SHINY reflector (not the brushed textured kind), perfect diameter and height. Needless to say they fit snug and look great.
