These black reflector knobs are closer to vintage correct because they don't have the spun metal reflector like many modern reflector knobs.
To make sure you are ordering the correct knob for your guitar. Look at the under side of your knob and compare it with the one pictured. The difference would be how far the knob sits above the guitar body when its installed. Many vintage Gibson® guitars have knobs that sit about 1/8" to 1/4" above the body. Many new models (except Gibson® Historics) have knobs that sit flush with the body.

Just what I was looking for.
Great knobs, they don’t have the brushed metal top look of modern Gibson / cheap Amazon knobs, the gold is also subtle - Another issue with cheaper knobs being too orange/yellow looking. All around, exactly what I was looking for and ordered a silver set for another guitar after these arrived.
