OK at best
Good for tight spaces obviously but the taper is drastic. 8-10 on volume is a quick taper then next to no effect below 8. As a tone pot, nothing until you get down to about 4 then it’s a sharp roll off. If you don’t use tone and keep volume at max, these are perfect. But if you want something that’s useful, look elsewhere.

Nice pots, easy to work with
I used these to replace some metric sized pots in a PRS SE guitar, both pots measured a bit over 500K which was nice for adding a bit more treble and clarity. These were really nice to work with in a cramped cavity, I will definitely use these on future projects. As long as they last like the full size CTS pots then I'm sold.

CTS 500K Mini Audio Split Shaft Potentiometer
100% satisfied. The CTS replaced a set of Bourns pots I originally swapped into a Godin Core P90 that used circuit board electronics. CTS are superior IMHO.

So much better than other pots
There is something about a well-made potentiometer that just makes life easier. Turns smoothly, lugs have plenty of clearance for larger diameter wire or buss bar, and soldering onto the pot casing is much easier than many of the import varieties.

Great mini-pot
I installed 500 K CTS mini-pots in a few of my guitars where control cavity space was at a premium. These mini-pots are solid, smooth, and provide great sound with a PIO capacitor. I highly recommend this product.
