These conversions post will allow you to install a US ABR-1 bridge on an Epiphone and other import guitar that was originally equipped with the large post Nashville bridge. Now you can have the same looks as the original vintage Gibson guitars! These post will screw directly into the original body anchors and leave you with 6-32 threaded post like the original ABR-1. Install the included thumbwheels and then your favorite US made ABR-1 bridge. Checkout our store for a selection of US ABR-1 bridges that will fit these conversion posts.
**Please check the diameter of your original posts before ordering. The diameter of the threaded section of your bridge posts needs to measure 7.9mm for these to fit. The 7.9mm(M8) diameter bridge post are found on most Epiphone and the better quality import guitars. Some inexpensive guitars coming from China are using a smaller 6mm(M6) threaded bridge posts. This includes many of the fake Gibson guitars...we do not sell a conversion posts or a bridge that will fit these guitars.

These parts are simple, so remarking on their quality may seem trite, but they are very functionally machined, they were plated properly, and the threads were smoothly cut on both ends. I am VERY happy with their fit and function.
The seem like very nice, high mass conversion posts w/ high quality machining and plating and tight tolerances. I've paid 3x as much for equivalent posts previously but doubt I will again as long as these continue to be available.
Just perfect installing ABM-12-string bridge on Epiphone 1275
I use these sets and an ABR bridge to get the correct Les Paul sounds from Epiphone and some others. I have found that sustain and harmonics are different with these than the standard metric one produce. What I am saying here is IF you like the powerful creamy scream superb sustain Les Paul sounds THEN you can get a lot closer to it by changing the metric parts to these and an ABR bridge, it works. I use no effects just gain. Plus I am 70 and indeed have played the legendary guitars and have a few. The slightly wider metric post spread requires a 1/32" larger than the hole drill run thru it to fit. I also buy extra thumb wheels to add so the post is completely covered and tight to the body. Read my review under the thumb wheels.
perfect! I wanted to add piezo bridge pickup and after receiving bridge noticed size discrepancy for post, and this product was a perfect fit for conversion.
Worked great on Ibanez AS 73
Just has it wad described, quick delivery
Wow, they just drop right in.
I was at the point where I was gonna drill and dowel my
Bridge mount holes and start from scratch to get an ABR to work on my Asian LP.
I had done several internet searches looking for a fix
And after an exhaustive search ,I Happened upon this little
Conversion set. What would've been a full days project
Turned into about 45 seconds.
Stoked with how they look and how everything turned out.
I used these to convert a Samick-era Epi Les Paul for use with a Fishman Powerbridge (piezo). It works, but setting the height within the bushing might be troublesome if the bushing pockets are drilled significantly deeper than the bushing itself. As you raise the height of the bridge with the thumbwheels, the studs will also thread further down into the bushings. In any case, it's workable. A little purple Loctite 222 or similar thread locker between the stud and bushing would solve that after you get the necessary height relative to the bushing worked out. It just might take a little more work that you were expecting.
