- High fret finding tool
- .104” (2.6mm) thick stainless steel
- Machined flat 1 5/16”, 2 1/16”, 2 15/16” and 3 15/16” sides
This 4-sided straightedge is made for checking fret height, or rather finding the one or two frets that are high or low. The edge lengths are designed so that any one edge can span three frets. This tools is commonly called the fret rocker because of the way the tool rocks on high and low frets.

Rockin those Frets
Right tool at the right price. Note: Use the edge of the tool, and not the "corner" (where the edge meets the side), when checking frets; the edge is true, the corner not necessarily so. When I get lazy, I'll inadvertently use the corner and think there's a high fret where there is not.

Hump on the shortest edge
Really love this store! Unfortunately, this product was faulty on arrival, the shortest edge has a hump on it, which prevents getting accurate measurements. Renders this tool useless from the 15th fret and upwards.

not straight
the short side was obviously not true. the other 3 sides are ok. still 1/3 of the price than stewmac and can be fixed just disappointing i have to fix a new tool

Excellent quality/excellent value
All guitarists should have one of these in their case. Quickly locates a common problem -- single fret buzzing.
-
Quality for a good price
This tool is easy to use and of great quality. It's solid and accurately machined. It's also quite a bit cheaper than similar products from other vendors.
