Not gauged be careful
Purchased these and made a nut only to realize the slots were ALL too big. Got out the micrometer and found ALL 6 sides were .010" to .025" larger than labeled. Tried to grind off the burrs and resize, but failed miserably. Check before you use. --PLTS Admin-- These are not gauged nut files and produce V shaped slots that will make slots that are wider at the top then the bottom. Gauged files produce slots that have straight sides. The files make slots for the sizes shown on the files. Many customers have used these are very satisfied with them.

The right tool for the job
Not much to say about nut files - they just work! Now my bass guitar is easier to play, less fret buzz, now if I could fix my fingers... My order arrived on time an in proper condition, no problems at all.
