Use instead of sanding and you save a lot of time. You don't have to step through sandpaper grades. Go straight from a rough surface to a smooth finish. And much more precise than sanding. Any flat surface can be leveled and pore filled with speed and accuracy. By scraping the sides of my neck heel, straightened the alignment between my electric guitars neck pocket and the neck heel in minutes. I wouldn't be without my Hosco scraper.
