This fretwire is considered low jumbo, with a wide crown and very low height, perfect for vintage-style refrets. It closely resembles the wire used on 1950s and 1960s Gibson Les Paul Customs, known as Fretless Wonders for their smooth, almost fretless feel. With a crown width of 0.106" (2.69 mm), a crown height of 0.039" (0.99 mm), and a tang width of 0.0236" (0.60 mm), it is ideal for refretting vintage guitars, especially 1960s Gibson models.
