Massively unexpected improvement
Short: this .022 blue jacket PIO capacitor is a ridiculously large improvement over the stock orange .047 cap I was previously unhappy with. Arrived fast and in perfect condition - I've actually been ordering random parts off and on from Philadelphia Luthier Tools for a few years now; I always have amazing service/experiences with them. Long: I have a single-pup-in-the-bridge guitar I completely gutted, replaced the HB with a hot HB-sized P90, 500k vol pot, 250k tone pot, and the guitar's original .047 oj cap from the manufacturer... the guitar was kinda boring to play and the tone pot was useless. On 10: tone was fine, 9-1: muddled garbage. Decided to try .022 cap [and PIO for once, for funsies] to see if that would help give my tone pot some range and maybe liven it up in general too.. aaaand that guitar is now my favorite of the 4 I own. The tone pot is completely useful now and the guitar doesn't sound dull at all anymore.
