The Gotoh/Wilkinson VS1300 is a locking 2-point bridge that features individual string locks that clamp the string at the intonation point, preventing excess string movement at this crucial area. This creates increased energy transfer from the string into the vibrato, longer string sustain, better string separation, and, of course, rock-solid tuning stability without having to remove ball ends. The VS1300 also includes other top-notch features, including a hardened steel base plate, GOTOH's STUD-LOCK bridge post, and a machined steel term block.

Best Tremolo on the Market
This unit is without a doubt the best unit on the market for locking tremolos. Easy install, tremolo plate has enlongated slots so the strings never hit the plate decreasing another friction point. The locking screws are out of the way and you never notice them when playing. Nice long area to lay your hand on and the tremolo is designed low so you don't feel like you're playing a Les Paul on a Strat style body. Put this on my Anderson and Tyler. Took top level guitars to even greater heights.

Most Stable Tremolo I have Owned!
The VS1300 Tremolo is the best I have ever owned, and I have owned just about all the best ones on the market. I bought a VS1300 when it first last came out last year and replaced my Super Vee Trem on my Strat The Super Vee has a trem-bar adjustment issue in my experience. Got tired of dealing with it and bought the VS1300 Wilkinson. I love everthing about it! Tuning stability, excellent tension and the trem bar is so easy to use! Perfect for my style of use. I bought this second VS1300 from Philiadelphia Luthiers and put it on my Semi-Hollow Custom Edenhaus. I think this is the best 2-Point Trem on the market today and Philadelphia Luthiers is always easy to buy from with excellent service and pricing.
