  • Kluson Hex Head conversion busings for 1/4" string posts
  • 13/32" o.d. 1/4" i.d. for use in 10mm headstock holes
  • Set of 6
  • Nickel
  • Kluson KHBKIN

These Kluson conversion bushing include a faux hex head and a separate washer for installing tuning machines with 1/4" diameter string posts on headstocks with 10mm post holes.  The hex head and washer will help keep the original look of your guitar while also hiding the marks left befind on the front of your headstock by the original washers.  A must have for anyone replacing their original tuners.

Works perfect with the GOTOH SD90/91 MG-T thumbwheel locking tuning machines and the GOTOH SD90 non-locking tuning machines.  The will not fit GOTOH SD90/91 MG(non-thumbwheel) with the 6mm diameter locking string posts.

Those conversion bushings fit great in to 10 mm peghead holes . I've used them to instal GOTOH SD90 MG-T locking tuners on my Gibsons SG and Les Paul Tribute . The only little inconvenience can be that washers after installation can rattle , but I've noticed that only on my Tribute that has satin finish my SG has lacquer on the headstock so the washers have something to stick . To fix the problem I've cut narrow strip of an electric tape the same as washers width inside and wrapped it around bushings once under hex head where washer will be placed and pressed them in to the holes . After You wrap them check if they are tight enough or you need little more tape . Just remember to use one continuous length of tape,if it's too short cut a new one . It is quick fix to have original Gibson look with GOTOH locking tuners . Love It .
