Excellent solution
Lost a star because Ping bushings are of a nicer shape, but the superior Gotoh tuners don't fit in them. These bushings fit tightly in my Fender Classic 50's, and allowed the wider gotoh shafts passage. I even think the tone got stronger with the loose 8.8mm bushings replaced, so doubly worth the cost.

I order the wrong size, but the product is great.
My own fault, I did not measure and just ordered these because the said "Fender conversion" and I have a Fender guitar. My digital calipers had a dead battery, so I punted. Bad idea. My neck was drilled out at 10mm, so these were too small. I shimmed them with some small strips of the business card included with my order and was able to get them to stay put, but I did order the 10.5mm conversion bushings which required a little reaming to get them to fit, but all is well now. The bushings themselves seem very high quality -- just measure first to make sure they are the correct size!
