Correct size replacement for Ibanez S Series
The only switch I have found that will fit inside the shallow control cavity of my thin MIJ 1993 Ibanez S540LTD. In my past experience these switches do not last long or hold up to heavy use. Replaced the original switch with a Switchcraft that is still working 25 years later, but had to live with a bulging cover plate that could not be screwed down flush. Decided to return the instrument to original with a new YM-50 and bought a spare for next time. Don't know if this YM-50 is built any tougher than the short-lived ones I have replaced in many imported instruments over the years. Apparently a different manufacturer (not Yamaha?) but looks exactly the same. 3 stars for average until I know how it holds up. (Btw, note unique 12300123 in-line terminal orientation if replacing a different switch.)
